You'll wait for your appointment in our relaxing reception area, where you will find current reading materials and comfortable chairs.
Your first appointment will be approximately an hour long. Your dentist will being by talk to you about your oral health needs and goals and reviewing your health history. Your dentist will them complete a thorough dental exam.
Your comprehensive exam will include an oral cancer screening, a full mouth series of x-rays, photos, and a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw.
Throughout your appointment, your dentist or hygienist will be happy to answer your questions about your dental health and treatment options. Going forward, your dentist will develop a dental treatment plan to address your unique needs.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please let us know about any change of plans as soon can, so we can offer the space in our schedule to another patient.
In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone, text or email appointment reminders from us. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.
At West Mall Dental Group, we accept most insurance plans. Please bring your insurance information with you to your first appointment, and we will be happy to submit your claim to your insurance company.
The team at West Mall Dental Group has lots of experience working with patients who feel anxious about undergoing dental work.
We want you to feel comfortable, so we'll work at your pace, talk you through each step, and answer any questions you may have as we go.
We also offer sedation options for patients whose anxiety cannott be managed through other means.
